I know many of us are facing the Summer with both joy and dread. But how can we keep our focus on our dream of writing without skipping all the great things Summer has to offer?
I know many might say that winter is busy, with Christmas but personally I’ve always thought Summer the most hectic I typically don’t do much traveling but there is still yard work to be done. And I know if you have kids, they are out of school and most likely climbing the walls. Or this might be the time of year you get to take your vacation or even have family come visit.
So what fills your Summer months and how do you keep writing in the mix of it?

I don’t get much writing done in the summer months even without kids and a great deal of traveling. My focus shifts to health, visiting, and things like that. I get SO much more done once October hits, all the way through April.
