- Thou shall tie up all plot threads you introduced (and not leave the reader wondering if the hero’s dad died from his injuries)
- Thou shall make your characters three-dimensional

Thou shalt always maintain consistency. Eye color will not change from chapter to chapter nor will the dog’s name.
Thou shalt not lathe a hero/heroine. Lathing of villains is encouraged.
